Thriving local business in Bournemouth, Fonix LED is now an internationally competitive player in the video production industry. From providing the entire Bournemouth Air Festival Event TV, to supplying the UK’s highest definition LED screens to global clients, across the UK, Europe and the Middle East – it seems that for Fonix LED, the sky is the limit.
Fonix has recently displayed a major presence in some of the UK’s most publicised events of 2018. Specialising in event AV, and with involvement from the Royal Wedding to dominating the Wimbledon summer of sports screenings, they were contracted to broadcast MP’s vote on Theresa May’s Brexit deal last night in Parliament Square on the big screens.
Thousands of activists gathered outside the Houses of Parliament ahead of the vote with demonstrators from both sides of the debate, and with the Brexit deal unsolved, the big screens were fundamental to the event itself. The area was surrounded with two mobile trailers and two T22 screens with the live camera streaming straight from inside the House of Commons, which proved perfect for large the outdoor gathering. Resulting in the biggest parliamentary defeat in modern history, Fonix were proud once again to have captured this unprecedented political event.
It’s great to see local companies making their mark not only in the capital but also across the globe and thriving as market leaders across their industries. From producing consumer radio, live feeds, hospitality structures, staging as well as platforms to facilitate a business’ marketing and advertising, look out for more from Fonix and stay up to date with their new ventures via social media or www.fonix.co.uk
